01Why do patches arrive when the licence is not active?+
Because updates are not tied to login or licence. With a bought-out licence that is a direct benefit — the software runs and stays patched. With an expired subscription the software does not run anyway, so it is primarily a measure to stop an installed copy from staying knowingly vulnerable on your network, and an obligation under the Cyber Resilience Act (Art. 13(8)).
02Why are prices not published?+
Because a figure without implementation scope and computer count would be misleading. Send a short description of your production and you will get a quotation with itemised lines, including cost over three and five years.
03Is it charged per user?+
No. The computer is licensed and the number of users on it is unlimited. If three people work shifts on the same computer, that is one licence.
04Do we have to buy a server?+
No. Each workstation runs on a local SQLite database and keeps working without a network. For multi-user work, data synchronises through a cloud database belonging to your company — each company has its own, separate from everyone else's. Its cost and terms are agreed with the quotation.
05What if we need more modules later?+
The licence tier is raised without repeating the implementation. Data and settings stay as they are; additional modules are unlocked.
06Do you charge per CNC machine?+
The CNC add-on covers all machines. Only a postprocessor for a specific machine is agreed separately, because that is real engineering work per machine model.
07What happens if we stop paying?+
With a subscription the software stops working when it expires — there is no grace period. With a bought-out licence and no maintenance it keeps running on the last delivered version and keeps receiving security patches, but without upgrades or support.
